Our client is a leading Japanese MNC in Energy & Water system.With offices and group companies throughout the globe, they are looking to expand the legal team in Singapore office.Job Scope:· Draft, negotiate and review purchasing, employment and other commercial contracts in Japanese and English.· Improve existing standard contracts, systems and procedures.· Research and provide guidance and educate staff on legal issues.· Prevent legal trouble from occurring.· Respond to litigation and other legal matters. Give legal advice.· Provide assistance in various projects requiring legal support, such as corporate governance, compliance programs and internal control. · Provide assistance to hold and manage AGM and BOD of affiliate or subsidiary company in ASEAN.· Manage relationship with company lawyers.Requirements:· At least 3 years of corporate in-house legal experience preferred· Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills · Ability to carry out risk analysis· Ability to negotiate and coordinate across multiple functions · Pro-active and independent thinker· Willing to travel
