Our client, a Multi-corporation Company in process or factory automation with global presence, they are currently seeking a Design Engineer – Mechanical as part of their expansion plan in Asia Pacific. The successful candidate can look forward to a rewarding career with an exciting and fast growing organization.

In this role, you will manage end to end product development projects from R&D till pre-production process. You will manage engineering design process and develop specifications for precise mechanical components. You will ensure design qualification for manufacturing processes with focus on sheet metal and plastic injection parts. You will vendor management for components productions and execute tolerance analysis for form, fit and function of high volume parts and assemblies. You will collaborate with stakeholders ensuring integrator of modules and electronics in product concepts. You will support process / technology transfer to production, support pilot run, mass production. In addition, you will also provide product maintenance and assist production in improving their production yield. You will also verifying regulatory compliance (UL, CE, RoHS/REACH etc.) with support from approval department.

You should have a Bachelor or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering with at least 5 years or more relevant design experience in mechanical product with integrator photoelectric sensors or component. Candidate with 3D CAD design computer skills like SolidWorks, strong competencies in creating design concepts, layouts and details engineering drawing is highly preferred. Any experience in plastic injection molding, machining, sheet metal, plastic/plastic bonding and profound knowledge in engineering mechanics, design theory and material science will be contribute successfully to to the success of the role). You must be technically savvy, be passionate & action oriented, precise & reliable and is able to work in a fast paced environment; You should be equipped with effective communication, interpersonal and project management skill.
