About our client:
Our client is a US MNC providing customer engagement software that gives analytic insights to catalyze growth through customer service contact centers, as a part of their expansion plans the company is now looking to hire a Sales Engineer to be based in their Singapore office and manage the Asia Pacific region.
About the role:
The Sales Engineer (SE) with a minimum of 7+ years in preferably contact center technology industry including recording, quality management, workforce management, analytics and supporting telephony systems, is a technical sales person who will develop and execute sales projects together with their assigned Regional Sales Director focused on improving the Omni-channel customer engagement model through Workforce Optimization, WFO, Reporting and Analytics, delivered on premise or as a cloud based software service across APAC. The SE acts as the technical sales subject matter expert leading prospects toward the company’s advantages through discovery, demonstrations and product configurations. The SE is part of the Sales team and he/she will work on opportunities in concert with their assigned Account manager(s). Must have passion for driving customer contact strategies and be able to communicate that vision to the company’s prospects, customers and internally in an engaging, open way becoming a trusted advisor. Fluent in both face to face and virtual communications with all sizes of groups. The role may require up to 50% travel across APAC region.
Responsibilities:
• Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the Sales, Professional Services, Product Management and Marketing teams to execute against revenue goals.
• Successfully position the Workforce Optimisation (WFO), Reporting and Analytics solutions for both on premise or cloud deployment models for targeted accounts to gain customer commitment for purchase and ongoing references and referrals.
• Enhance customer intimacy and provide thought leadership through dialogue with key customers.
• Design and architect WFO Reporting and Analytics solutions based on customer requirements.
• Educate the company’s Partner network on technical features of the company’s Products
• Leverage demonstration tools to articulate the value of the product and suite
• Create the required documentation to ensure customer success - Design Documents, SOWs etc. via Word, Excel, Visio
• Experience with and understanding of enterprise telephony and contact center technologies particularly with Cisco, Avaya or cloud based systems.
• Ability to deliver compelling targeted product demonstrations clearly highlighting the product benefits to prospects
• Desire and ability to learn new technologies and extend the boundaries of or sales tools to target specific opportunities
