Global medical devices giant with industry-leading consumer products seeks an outstanding Corporate Lawyer to join its Singapore office. Reporting to the APAC Legal Director, you play a key role in managing legal affairs across the Region.
You will provide legal advice and support to all business units within the region, to assess and manage legal risk, ensuring regional compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, providing training and education on relevant legal issues. You will analyze, draft, negotiate, review, interpret and file all necessary documentation to ensure the company's obligations are compatible with management's strategy; provide legal advice and counsel to company management in diverse matters affecting the daily business operations by resolving legal matters. You will protect company in all business relationships, identify potential legal issues related to proposed business practices and policies, and help to prevent any litigations possibility. This role also works closely with its internal compliance team in the area of implementation and effective operation of a comprehensive compliance program.
Ideal candidate should be Singapore Bar qualified, 5 -8 yrs pqe, with good understanding of the increasingly complex and challenging healthcare regulatory environment working. Proven comparable law firm experience are welcome too.
