Our Client a renowned international Medical insurer is seeking a Health Promotion Manager.
The Health Promotion Manager executes the appropriate delivery and coordination of wellness programs including event scheduling and appointment coordination, community and vendor programs, and monitors effectiveness of the programs. The focus of the Health Promotion Manager is the working well population of employees in aggregate. A core objective of this position is to facilitate wellness programs that educate and influence employees at the worksite to lead healthy lifestyles. The primary focus of the Health Promotion Manager is health promotion.
General Responsibilities
He/She will collaborate in development and delivery of promotion campaigns to create awareness and visibility for wellness. He/She will develop health education courses from defined list of wellness topics; may be tailored to population, season etc and provide education for various health related topics (nutrition/healthy eating, physical activity, etc). He/She will develop wellness campaigns to facilitate health related group activities among population over a defined time period (walking groups, weight loss support groups etc) and focus campaigns and challenges on lifestyle habit change/improvement. He/She will facilitate coordination of wellbeing event/fair, biometrics, online Health Assessment, individual and team challenges, guest speakers, mammogram screening, open enrollment, family wellness event etc and work to maintain activity calendar of events and activities. The Health Promotion Manager will have occasional travel expectation to identified locations within the organization for coordination purposes.
Qualifications
The Health Promotion Manager will have a few years of experience in health and wellness field. Industry Certification such as CHES or worksite wellness program with a Bachelors degree in health education, health promotion or related field is preferred. Desirable experience with workplace wellbeing strategy and implementation, design of workplace infrastructure and engagement solutions, direct member communication (written and verbal) and conducting educational presentations.
