Treasury Manager

Our client is a well-established and reputable MNC in the industry and due to evolving business needs, it is now looking for an experienced treasury specialist to help the organisation build a regional treasury hub in Singapore.
The successful incumbent will be instrumental in building up a regional center of excellence structure in Singapore, ensuring that the treasury activities are transited smoothly. You report to the Regional Treasury Manager based overseas and in the first year, you will be actively managing this treasury project. After the implementation phase, you will be responsible for the treasury operations. You are accountable for Singapore and South East Asia countries in executing, co-ordinating and monitoring of all group treasury activities in line with local regulations and business requirements.
Requirements:
- At least a Degree in Accountancy / Business / Finance, any further professional qualification would be an added plus
- Approximately 7 to 8 years of relevant experience with good knowledge of financial instruments and markets, including funding, cash management and derivatives
- Possesses a good network within the finance community and has sound understanding of accounting and tax principles
- Strong ability to propose and implement changes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
