Job Description
As the BD Manager, you will work with a high performance team in developing and executing the organization’s Business Development roadmap in Malaysia. You will identify, analyse, pursue and close partnerships and projects that are aligned to growth objectives both locally and regionally. You will provide the Management Team with your assess of project feasibility from all angles, striving to develop win win situations and on-time, on-budget execution. Based on your intimate understanding of the local markets and consumer behaviour trends, you will proactively identify and capitalize on new opportuntiies. As a Manager, you will serve as a mentor to the rest of the team and be expected to work effectively across diverse business functions.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you are currently or previously working in a Big Three management consulting envionrment, with a good Masters degree. Experinece and a high degree of familiarity with the Malaysia market is a must. You are a highly analytical individual, with strong interpersonal and communications skills. You are able to effectively influence, negotiate and convince both internally and externally, building strong case studies based on market and business assessment. You have excellent project management skills, with a proven track record in juggling multiple projects and working within tight timelines. Strong presentation skills will be critical in this time, as is a confident and engaging persona as you will be representing the brand.
Candidates with experience in Management Consulting will be at at distinct advantage.
