Ad Operations Specialist (Technical)
Our client is the world’s largest mobile messaging applications. The app now has over 100 million installs on Android, iOS, and Windows since it was created. This role is responsible for using and refining defined business processes to enable the ad customer, campaign onboarding and ad content flighting in the Indonesia/other SEA market/region. The person in this role must have a solid and well-rounded understanding of the business of mobile advertising and the enabling ad technology. The person in this role must be able to vet and onboard ad tech solutions and conduct ad campaign performance discrepancy troubleshooting investigations as required. This role is first line Operational support for the client’s Account Management and Sales during APAC/SEA business hours and ensures that the field teams have the information and tools required to flight ad campaigns on the platform.
Responsibilities:
•Driving campaign onboarding processes, including display, video and bulletin ads
•Handling technical inquiries about URLs, deeplinks, and mobile app install integrations
•Providing first level support to Account Management and Sales for inquiries about ad tech capabilities (ad targeting capabilities, inventory availability, reporting, etc…)
•Developing and maintaining documentation to Ad Operations, Support Sales and Account Management efforts, such as product quick reference sheets.
•Processing and distributing reports (scheduled and ad-hoc) as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
•Undergraduate university degree or in mathematics or computer science or business administration, or relevant field.
•Candidate must have experience and a demonstrated proficiency with HTML Ads, including a confirmed ability to troubleshoot, diagnose errors, propose modifications or corrections to Advertiser provided HTML.
•Aptitude for analytical thinking and experience solving complex problems
•Strong data analysis skills and experience working with large data sets
•Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis, including Pivot Tables, graphs and slicers
•Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and business-models
•Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight timelines
•Good working knowledge of internet technologies (HTTP, Proxies, Firewalls, and basic networking).
•Experience working with Google DFp, AdX and 3rd party mediation solutions
•Mature, professional, responsible, requiring minimal supervision.
•Proven communication with the ability to translate technical issues and solutions into business needs
•Knowledge of the Android and IOS operating system
•Working knowledge and relevant professional experience with Video Ad Serving and VAST/VPAID Tags
•Working knowledge and relevant professional experience with significant Attribution Tracking Technology platforms like Kochava, Tune, Sizmek, etc.
•IAB Digital Ad Operations Certification is an asset.
•Some experience/basic proficiency with a Python server environment
•Experience in the use of Charles Web Debugging Proxy
