Consultant/Senior Consultant, Banking Business Risks
Our client, an international management consultancy company is seeking a Consultant with relevant years of Management Consultancy experience in Financial Institutions.
As a Consultant, you will acquire first-hand consulting experience in the financial services industry, build knowledge on a wide range of companies and solutions, and apply project management best practices in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging work environment. As you carry out projects at the clients’ premises, you will play a key role in building trusted client relationships through high quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:
•Conduct research, data collection and analysis on the needs and issues of the client through interviews and workshops to translate their requirements into well-formulated solutions
•Present findings and recommendations to the client using business proposals and presentation decks
•Document the project into systems and processes for management review
•Close interaction with clients through regular project updates and networking
•Support team members with other project activities
More experienced candidates will have these additional responsibilities:
•Independently drive the success of a work stream by directing activities, ensuring high quality deliverables, and timely submissions
•Manage a team of consultants by defining meaningful work packages, managing activities, and through mentorship
•Conduct interviews and workshops with clients to translate their requirements into well-formulated solutions
•Participate in business development activities including topic development, proposal preparation, sales presentations, and contract negotiation
Requirements:
•Degree holder
•3-6 years of experience in the private banking, consulting, and/or technology industry
•Experience in consulting/project/change management
•Experience in Business Risk & Regulatory Management within Investment Suitability, Client Due Diligence, AML/KYC/Pricing Disclosure
•Control framework design experience preferred
•Familiarity with MAS and HKMA/SFC regulations preferred. Capable of applying technology principles to business
•Highly analytical and structured in problem solving; able to quickly understand complex situations
•Excellent presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues
•Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and team leadership skills
