Our client is a well-established global MNC in the chemicals industry.
The Regional Procurement Hub Manager is accountable for the operation of the regional procurement hub and overseeing all procurement strategies and activities within the region. He / she in instrumental for developing and maintaining working relationships with business stakeholders in Asia & Pacific, providing a key point of contact for regional stakeholders, routinely assessing their satisfaction and developing improvement opportunities. Developing a high level understanding of key commodity/currency markets and how they affect raw material sectors and markets, is a critical part of the portfolio, in addition to managing and grooming the team.
Ideally, the candidate should come with University Degree in Business or equivalent, and extensive knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes, strong negotiation skills and understanding of strategic supplier/customer relationships. He/she should possess excellent leadership skills, specifically showing a wide range of interpersonal skills and ability to forge good relationships with people at all levels and from a variety of backgrounds.
