Our client is an established pharmaceutical MNC in a phase of growth and development in the region. It now invites an experienced senior counsel within the Healthcare / FMCG industry to join its Singapore office.
Working closely with the Head of Legal based in Singapore, you will develop and implement a legal discipline, procedure or flow which addresses all aspects of the organization’s internal as well as external legal and company secretarial compliance obligations; as well as to provide legal support to the stakeholders in the cross matrix business environment locally and in the region. You will be advising on regional legal issues such as; commercial contracts, litigation, statutory compliance and business ethics affecting the organization and its global businesses. You are responsible for developing, promoting and executing the Legal function’s annual and long-term operations plans as well as the identification and management of working relationships with the company’s external legal consultants. You will be working together with the Regulatory Affairs Team to manage risks and ensure compliance with all internal and external corporate responsibilities.
Ideal candidate must be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years of experience, as an in-house legal advisor for a multinational company or an established law firm in Singapore as you will have to work transversally with key stakeholders locally, regionally and globally in the Singapore Platform. The ability to work with a high degree of independence and autonomy is preferred.
