You will conduct clinic and office renovation needed to meet new requirements, develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner, and liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
You are expected to:
• Seek project approval, including budget and project timeline.
• Call for RPF, formulate evaluation criteria, conduct RPF interview, seek approval to award and award to chosen vendor.
• Ensure that projects are implemented within budget and on time to realise National University Polyclinics (NUP) modernisation plans, including and not limited to scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, and proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plans.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team, manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Coordinate with end-users on design and requirements.
• Update on progress of project with appropriate reports.
• Coordinate with relevant departments and clinic involved on handover and official opening.
• Conduct project reviews, and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements, and develop a repository for best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
• Good degree in Engineering, Architectural, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Construction Management, Building Estate Management or equivalent with at least 5-8 years in managing large scale developments, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills.
• Good in people management with the ability to engage and work with all levels of staff, including vendors and contractors.
• Strategic system thinking yet attentive to details.
