Job Description
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial roadmap and success of this Asian brand that is enjoying good traction in local markets and gearing up for its next phase of growth internationally. Leading a team of Sales, R&D, Product Management and Marketing professionals, you will hold full P&L responsibilities, leading the team to achieve financial and business objectives. You will develop a strong strategy roadmap, in consult with the Board of Directors, with a focus on new market development and business expansion. You will identify growth engines, including joint ventures, franchising deals, co-branding opportunities, in order to expand the brand footprint and raise brand visibility. As the brand is aggressively growing, you can expect to be managing a full product pipeline, with regular and often inaugural product launches.
Markets of focus will be China, Europe and the UK, where the brand plans to expand its presence.
The Successful Applicant
You are currently holding a similar leadership position in the skincare industry, with full commercial and business responsibilities over a multi-market territory. Experience in the skincare industry is a must – luxury skincare or medically backed skincare will be highly preferred. You are a strategy and visionary leader, with an entrepreneurial approach and a flair for brand building. You are well connected in the industry, with an established network and an intimate understanding of the competitor landscape. A certain degree of expertise in product development will be advantageous. This role is based in Singapore; exposure to Asia and Europe markets will be critical.
