Our client is a well-established MNC in the industrial products industry.  


The Sourcing Manager is responsible for managing all (development related) projects purchasing activities (advanced purchasing) necessary in the course of technical development projects, and the continuous improvement process. The products are used in industrial automation and involve PCB assembly and box build. He / she will collaborate with internal and external parties, performing value analysis and proactive search for cost saving potentials of purchased parts, ensuring the smooth transition of products from engineering to serial production. He / she will also work closely with the Product Development team to investigate required technologies and potential supplier base to support the company’s product roadmap. 


Ideally, the candidate should come with University Degree in Engineering, with a strong technical aptitude. He / she should possess at least 5 years of experience in purchasing materials for manufacturing organisation, including supplier selection, evaluation and performance monitoring, global sourcing and management of procurement personnel and processes.
