Finance Manager
• World TOP General Insurance company located at town
• Heavy business partnering with Senior Management which include investment advisory and HQ report writing
• Managing a big team of accounting staffs
As a Finance Manager, you are responsible to review monthly and year end closing of accounts, perform financial planning and analysis work and preparing for financial performance report. You will attend to all internal business partners, Department Head and CEO on the commentary on the business/ financial performance of the Company. You will be tasked to liaise with the external auditor, tax agent on necessary internal audit enquiries and GST return/ tax schedules & tax computations.
You will review quarterly outward treaty returns, bank reconciliations for 3 bank accounts, reconciliation and settlement of reinsurance accounts. You will also be expected to streamline work processes and assist in the implementation, updating and monitoring of financial and internal controls. Act as a Compliance officer and ensure compliance with all laws, regulatory provisions and Group policies are relevant to the company direction. Leading and supervising a team of finance staffs.
You are expected to have min 8 years of finance and accounting experience, competent with accounting and finance policy in your day-to-day operation. Able to work as a team and eager to shape a high performance finance team. Business savvy and People oriented profile on top of strong problem solving skills.
