A leading global European MNC in its niche products is currently looking for an experienced accounting & finance candidate to join its regional finance team as a Finance Manager.
This successful incumbent will be tasked to assist the CFO for Asia in performing internal review of the financial management report & internal controls of the regional HQ and its subsidiaries. This is to ensure compliance across entities in the region as the company expands its footprint in Asia. You will be required to propose improvements in the countries’ existing processes, collaborating closely with the local teams on their implementation. Besides internal control responsibilities, you will be responsible for the monthly consolidation of the management reports, providing analysis on the financial results and looking into cost efficiency opportunities. Budgeting and forecasting as well as preparation of presentation will be an integral part of the role. You are expected to be hands-on as this is an individual contributor role. As the business expands, the role may evolve into a people manager role. Some travelling to the entities in the region is expected.
Key requirements:
• Recognised Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent, preferably with professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA.
• Experience in financial analysis and consolidation, coupled with external audit experience in a Big 4 firm is mandatory
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment will have a strong advantage
• Strong ability to interpret and analyse financial information
• Strong communications and influencing skills
• Results oriented and able to work in a team as well as independently
