Our client is a leading life science MNC with a global business in robotics and automation used by research and testing laboratories worldwide.
An exciting opportunity exists as a Field Applications Specialist responsible for technical support primarily in the SEA region, and beyond. The incumbent would be the technical liaison and provide onsite and remote support. He/ she would perform troubleshooting of application protocols and instrumentation, optimization of liquid handling, develop application specific protocols for complex automated instrumentation and integration with third party devices, develop and delivery of training programs as well as participate in Factory and Site Acceptance testing.
To qualify you would have a degree in life science, preferably in chemistry, biology or biochemistry and must have at least 2 years of experience using laboratory automation or scientific applications. Experience in programming automated scientific equipment or complex applications would be an advantage. You should be willing to travel 70%.
