Job Description
• Lead Sales & Forwarding Teams to achieve Company’s goals
• To develop new Japanese customers accounts including leads from Japan HQ to grow revenue and profit margin
• To set and implement business plans and strategies
• To manage & maintain existing Japanese customers so as to expand current businesses
• To maintain close communication with Japan HQ on business collaborations
• To conduct regular meetings with Sales & Forwarding Teams to address and share all arising issues pertaining to all customers including reporting to Japan HQ for service improvements
• Budgets, Reports and Forecasts to Managing Director
• Any other and/or special assignments from the Managing Director
Requirements
• Must have at least 5 years in a Japanese logistics & freight forwarding environment
• Good knowledge of Japanese working culture and structure
• Must be fluent in both spoken and written Japanese language
• Able to speak and write English
• Must possess good 3PL logistics & freight forwarding businesses and market development experience in Japan and western regions (such as USA and Europe)
• Strong management and leadership skills a must
