Our client is a public listed company and is one of the largest consumer electronics manufacturer in the world. They have a long history of pioneering some of the known household technology dated as early as 1920’s. Through their strong R&D team, they have continually creating some breakthrough technologies for automotive, housing, devices and B2B solutions. Due to some restructuring they are currently on a look out for a new general manager for their Singapore office.
As a General Manager, you will be based in Singapore and will be reporting to the Managing Director. This role will expect you to have a strong background in strategic planning to be able to formulate strategies for both short term and long term directions for the company. Your understanding of Singapore market and awareness of regional and global developments will be a key in identifying future trends for Singapore operations. This role will require you to have a strong presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills in order to liaise with internal and external stake holders.
To be successful on this role, you must have a degree in Marketing / Economics / Business with a mix of strong background in business, market and P&L analysis. You must also have good understanding and experience in sales and marketing for B2C and forge a strong relationship with them in order to develop a better direction for the whole team.
