About our client:
Our client a US MNC providing optical networking solutions to businesses globally is now looking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer to be based in their office in Singapore and manage the Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia region.


About the role:
Customer and channel facing presales engineering representative focusing on primary market of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia. Performing technical tasks, including but not limited to assisting in written proposals, network design, engineering and quotes. Engage with customer to drive technical specification and capture mindshare in favor of the company’s solution. Assist and develop channel partners to enable channel partner business. The Systems Engineer must be able to communicate solutions to customers and work with internal stakeholders.


Responsibilities:
• Work with the account primes with the analysis and evaluation of customer’s technical requirements
• Perform network designs using company’s network design and modeling tools for customer applications and requirements base on company’s networking products
• Develop Bill of Materials, respond to RFPs (design, engineering, point-by-point compliance statement, etc.) and customer technical inquiries
• Develop and recommend company’s products and solutions
• Hands-on lab preparations for customer demos or equipment certifications
• Be a PM to drive Proof Of Concept processes and activities to achieve the all pass result
• Prepare and present network design and solutions to customer
• Provide presales support and training to channel partners for channel business enablement
• Interface with sales and regional technical primes to develop and/or propose product enhancements to meet customer requirements
• Developing and enhancing strong relationship with customer to grow new and existing account
• Business travel is required
