Compliance Officer/ Manager

As a compliance officer, you are required to identify, deliver and present compliance issues and trends to management with recommendations to address the issues. You will implement, manage and maintain an overall compliance framework that ensures compliance with the regulatory authorities and regulations, including MAS, SGX, ACRA, SFA, Listing Rules, Code of Corporate Governance and many others relevance bodies. You will also conduct regular meetings with key business and compliance customers to better understand on-going activities, risks, trends and strategy that inform the monitoring & analytics plan. You are required to monitor new regulations, rules and legal development in the area of compliances besides reviewing, drafting and negotiating of business agreements. In additional, you are also responsible to implement and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, including compliance training for staff of the REIT Manager, Property Manager and Business Trust holder.
Our client would expect you to have minimum 5-7 years of compliance or similar experience, preferred candidate with REITs/ financial institution compliance experience, BA/BS degree required. Excellent communication and strong interpersonal and presentation skills; and ability to successfully influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
