Our client is one of the leading airlines from Japan.
Job Description
We are currently looking for a sales person to:
- Increasing its revenues and margins by planning, establishing and implementing sales strategies, goals and key performance indicators that support its business objectives and revenue targets with key focus on corporate, high end leisure and travel management companies.
- Sourcing new business opportunities and converting leads into sales. Maintaining an accurate and ongoing sales pipeline.
- Developing and managing relationships with corporate customers and key trade partners.
- Engage in joint sales and marketing activities with Joint Business partners to grow the level and quality of revenue.
- Monitor, analyze and report on competitive industry activity and information.
- Developing tactical sales and marketing activities in support of sales opportunities.
- Liaise with internal departments and branches to support corporate objectives.
- Representing the company at seminars, conferences, product launches, trade and public exposure.
Requirements
Our client needs someone with the following skills:
- Strong commercial acumen and history of achieving results.
- Experience in business development, preferably within the airline/travel industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to make effective and professional sales presentations. Additional language capability will be an asset.
- Strategic agility, creativity and consultative selling experience.
- Strong planning and time management skills.
- Solid computer skills, proficiency using MS office, Salesforce and an ability to quickly learn new systems. Knowledge of industry systems e.g. GDS, Prism, MIDT will be an advantage.
- Integrity and trust, good people skills and must be a team player.
- Able to travel to various venues and maintain flexible schedule.
