Our client's business includes steel/tubular, machinery, electronics, chemicals, Plastics and petroleum etc.
Job Description
They are looking out for a Risk Management Executive for their Singapore Office. Their Primary Objective is to assist to manage corporate and business risks including credit, investment, inventory and other operational risks.
• Risk assessment, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business of the organization.
• Issue guidelines and consultation on security trade control relating to all transactions of the company. In particular, export/import procedures and L/C acceptance from banks.
• Work closely with traders to calculate the risk associated with specific trading transactions.
• Implement internal controls to manage risks of the company.
• Attend to queries from and proactively communicate with the Head Office on risk management issues.
• Provide training for employees to create awareness on risk management.
• Providing support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organization.
• Support on physical stock take actively.
Requirements
Our client needs someone with the following skills:
• Relevant experience in Credit Risk Management of 2 - 3 years is preferred. Candidates from fields in Accounting, Banking, Finance and Audit can apply as well.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and is level headed in critical situations.
• A proactive team player who is able to work independently.
