Senior / System Analyst

About the client

Our client is a Japanese IT solution provider company that provide core services in the areas of Cloud Computing Services, Innovation and Creative Ideas Enablement & Promotion, Business Performance Analysis & Intelligence, Social Media & Customer Relationship Management, Contact Centre Solutions, Reputation Management, Adaptive Web Services, as well as the capability of System Integration and Development for organizations of all sizes and industries.

They are currently looking for a Senior System Analyst for their Singapore office.

 

Responsibilities

ž   Be part of our development team in Singapore to work on projects related to social media data.

ž   Design, implement, test and optimize software or software components assigned, which includes but not limited to crawling, processing and visualizing data

ž   Communicate with other team members to refine or clarify customer needs to meet their expectations.

ž   Motivate and support other team members throughout the complete software development life cycle. Highlight issues for discussion if any. Troubleshoot software or system issues.

 

Requirement

ž   Masters / Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with minimum 2 years’ experience in software development, familiar with SDLC. Entry level engineers are also welcome.

ž   Able to code in Java and/or Python.  Working experience with non-SQL DB systems (e.g., MongoDB), and search engines (e.g., ElasticSearch) is preferred

ž   Good knowledge in network security, Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) shall be an added advantage.

ž   Familiar and experience in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc), crawler development, front-end design/development shall be an added advantage.

ž   Self-motivated, always strive for the best is most suitable.
