Our client is a leading global medical MNC listed in the US. It is now looking for a senior finance professional to be part of the APAC leadership team as the company seeks to continue to expand its footprint in Asia Pacific. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the overall finance function of the region and be instrumental in supporting the company’s business growth in the region.
As a key member to the APAC leadership team, you will help to support the development and implementation of strategies to meet financial performance objectives. You need to manage timely completion of all required finance and accounting activities for statutory reporting and audit purpose. You would provide the necessary analysis of financial results to management in order to identify root causes and counter measures. You are expected to be a strong finance advisor to the MD for Asia Pacific and the region’s sales management team. In performing the above functions, you will lead a finance team in the region and be responsible for mentoring and developing the team members.
Requirements:
• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent, preferably with CPA or CA qualification
• Minimum 18 years of sold finance experience, with some relevant years in a similar capacity covering Asia Pacific region
• Prior experience in a distributor driven healthcare market will be highly regarded
• Possesses strong business acumen and proven track record in partnering the business
• Strong leadership skills with people development capabilities
• Possesses solid communication and interpersonal skills essential to manage diverse stakeholders
• Hands-on and strong team player
