Our Client is the world's largest producer of renewable diesel and currently they are looking for an Automation Engineer to provide a key link between owner’s team automation and EPCM contractor automation engineering discipline.
Reporting to the Automation Manager, you will be responsible for the technical deliverables and fulfillment of project targets in an investment project for automation. You will also be responsible for the basis of design and engineering deliverables for automation, ensures engineering processes to be followed taking specific requirements into account. Additionally, you should facilitate information flow between own and EPCM contractor automation discipline to ensure appropriate communication takes place in a timely fashion. You will be part of an automation design network consisting of engineering team automation engineer(s), integrated production team, back-office and EPCM contractor members and also required external resources.
Ideally you should possess a Degree in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 8 years’ of experience in managing automation discipline in an EPCM environment in different project phases. You should also have good understanding of investment project end results impact on production and its processes (life-cycle thinking). Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, project work skills and ability to work under stress would be preferred.
