Job Description
Based in Singapore, you will hold overall business and strategic responsibility for the SEA Retail business, playing a critical role in the growth and success of the brand in this region. Working closely with the Global teams, you will develop an aligned Retail roadmap and drive its execution across all markets. You will hold chief responsibility for achievement of Retail revenue and profitability targets, across both owned & operated and partner stores, working closely with Country leads to optimize performance and efficiency. You will champion best practices, putting in place processes to support business objectives and ensuring that brand excellence remains a high priority. This includes instilling best practices in advertising and promotions, customer service, merchandising and reporting.
In this role, you will play a critical role in leading store expansion. You will develop a store pipeline to meet aggressive growth targets and oversee the expansion process from start to end, including site analysis, partner and landlord negotiations and store opening plans.
The Successful Applicant
You are currently working in a similar regional capacity in the Retail industry, with Head of Department responsibilities. Experience in the sporting goods category will be highly advantageous, with a holistic understanding of the competitive landscape in the sports apparel and footwear space. Candidates with experience in fashion and lifestyle categories may also be considered. You possess 360 retail management expertise, with strong project management and financial reporting capabilities. You are a strategic thinker, with insights into the SEA markets and the ability to take projects from conceptualization to delivery.
