Our client is one of the leading global provider of marine transportation and anchor handling services into offshore Oil & Gas projects worldwide. The company has over 30 modern fleet of vessels and state of the art shipyard to build and maintain new or existing fleets.
 
You must demonstrate strong Planning, controlling and execution of all activities connected with maintenance, repairs, survey and certificate requirements, drydocking, conversion or modification of assigned vessels, including monitoring of and control of the costs of repairs and maintenance. Ability to ensure ships are maintained in safe and seaworthy conditions by complying with rules & regulations, codes and guidelines. To be successful in this role, you must been a Chief Engineer on board with a Class 1 Motor Certified, preferable with Tug and Anchor handling vessels experience will be ideal. In the event of damage to a vessel, this role expects you to prepare all necessary Hull and Machinery claim reports and claims documentation.

Report directly back to the management in Singapore, you should be a dynamic and able to lead the crews independently with minimum supervision. Ability to troubleshoot and rectify vessel machines onboard and added Electrical knowledge will be an added advantage.
Minimum 10 years of sailing experience with at least 2-3 years as a Chief Engineer on-board will be preferred. You should be willing to be based on UAE office with ad-hoc sailing required.
