About our client:
Our client is a MNC company providing technology & manufacturing solutions to businesses globally, as a part of their expansion plans they are now looking to hire a Systems Engineer to be based in their Singapore office.

About the role:
The Systems Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and supporting infrastructure activities and infrastructure project implementation ideally from a MNC background will need to be a Degree holder in IT or RedHat & MCSA certified professional. The ideal incumbent needs to have hands-on knowledge for ERP (QAD) and Linux related tasks. Administration of VMware Servers & Oracle VM Servers, support operations activities of Data Center (RHEL 5/6/7 LVM management Backup/Restore, Monitoring etc), knowledge on Nagios Centreon Monitoring, document and maintain system and user manual along with operation and disaster recovery procedures.


Responsibilities:

•    Work both in team and individually to support systems from installation to troubleshooting.
•    Work closely with other system engineers, business analyst, project manager and desktop support
•    Follow the operational processes and procedures to ensure the integrity of the systems and services.
•    To monitor & report the availability and performance of all managed system.
•    He or she is required to provide end-to-end support for system related scope during project implementation.
•    Must be able to work independently with proactive and good problem solving skills
•    Use shell scripting to automate system tasks
•    Windows & Linux Administration
•    70% on Linux support and remaining 30% on Windows related tasks
•    Systems Monitoring & Day to Day Operation Support
•    Backup Tape Management in Singapore Datacenter
•    24/7/365 on-call emergency availability
