Regional Finance Manager

Our client is an established MNC with a long history. It is now looking for a high potential individual to join them as a Regional Finance Manager. Reporting to the Finance Director for Asia, the successful incumbent will lead the Singapore and overseas finance teams to manage all the accounting and finance matters in the Asia Pacific region.


You will be responsible for the running of day-to-day accounting activities and be accountable for monthly financial reporting, management reporting, forecast & budget. You are expected to build and manage a solid and effective infrastructure to implement and maintain internal control processes and procedures. This is to achieve defined business objectives as well as ensuring compliance to all laws, regulations and company policies. You will be tasked to lead and participate on-going Finance projects to deliver best practices and improve overall productivity. In addition, you need to partner with the respective country managers and support them in decision making. Occasional travel to the countries is required.


Requirements
• Possess a Bachelor of Accountancy or Business or its equivalent, preferably with CPA or CA qualification
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in covering a broad spectrum of finance functions in a multi-national environment
• A couple of years’ of experience in a supervisory capacity
• Self-starter and able to take the initiative to be a change agent
• Hands-on and able to operate in a fast paced environment
• Engaging personality with ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and across multiple functions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Occasional travelling in the region would be required
