Our client is in the chemical industry and they are adding a new headcount to hire a HR Manager for their Regional office.
This role reports to the Asia HR Director and will be based in Singapore supporting Asia region. You will be expected to work closely with respective country HR to manage/review areas of improvement and propose solutions and to ensure HR policies are align with local regulations and regional best practices. Key focus areas include talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, training and development and retention strategy.
As the successful applicant you would have undertaken a similar role previously and be familiar with a manufacturing plant environment. You will be an experienced HR professional, with a degree in HRM or relevant discipline, ideally with 7+ years of HR generalist experience. You are an independent worker, have hands-on approach, key strategic focus and are comfortable in a fast pace matrix environment. Past experience working in a MNC and manufacturing environment is mandatory. Candidates with strong organization development or compensation & benefits background will be a plus.
