Our client has established mega projects in the pipeline and as a result of increased needs, it is currently looking for an experienced and highly qualified accounting professional to take on a CFO position.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for formulating, overseeing, implementing and achieving the financial goals, objectives and budgets of the assigned projects. You will provide financial leadership in the management and development of financial and financing strategies, financial plans and financial performance to ensure sustainability. In addition, you need to manage risks in the delivery of strategic goals/objectives of the designated projects. In the process of performing the above responsibilities, you will partner the Board, management and other stakeholders. You are the financial advisor who provides sound financial advice and direction in business development, investment, project financing, project management, accounting, tenders and other business perspectives.
Requirements:
• A recognized Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
• At least 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in a senior management position is necessary for this role
• Good knowledge of financial management, financial planning and infrastructure project financing
• Mature and commercially astute with strong management and leadership attributes
• Analytical and resourceful with strong oral and written communication skills
