Consultant/Senior Consultant, Insurance
Our client, an international management consultancy company is seeking a Consultant / Senior Consultant with relevant years of Management Consultancy experience in managing projects in Insurance Companies.
As a Consultant/Senior Consultant, you will acquire first-hand consulting experience in the financial services industry, build knowledge on a wide range of companies and solutions, and apply project management best practices in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging work environment. As you carry out all projects at the clients’ premises, you will play a key role in building trusted client relationships through high quality deliverables.
Responsibilities:
•Conduct research, data collection and analysis on the needs and issues of the client through interviews and workshops to translate their requirements into well formulated solutions
•Present findings and recommendations to the client using business proposals and presentation decks
•Document the project into systems and processes for management review
•Close interaction with clients through regular project updates and networking
•Support team members with other project activities
More experienced candidates will have these additional responsibilities:
•Independently drive the success of a work stream by directing activities, ensuring high quality deliverables and timely submission
•Manage a team of consultants by defining meaningful work packages, managing activities, and through mentorship
•Conduct interviews and workshops with clients to translate their requirements into well formulated solutions
•Close interaction with clients through regular project updates and networking
•Participate in business development activities including topic development, proposal preparation, sales presentations, and contract negotiation
Requirements:
•Post-graduate degree holder
•At least two years of experience in the life/non-life insurance domain (retail/corporate solutions) in technology consulting and/or industry roles
•Project experience in at least one of the following areas: Core systems implementation and/or enhancement, underwriting, claims, financial/technical accounting, operational process improvements
•Capable of applying IT principles to business
•Highly analytical and structured in problem solving; able to quickly understand complex situations
•Excellent presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues in the region when working on regional projects.
•Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and team leadership skills
