Job Description


As the Managing Director, you will hold overall business accountability for Korea, with the mandate to continue building what is already a highly successful business. Holding full P&L responsibilities, you will be responsible for managing a high performance team in driving the organization to achieve revenue and commercial objectives, while developing distinctive brand equity. As a critical partner to the Global business, you will lead strategic planning and development, aligning local goals to over arching global objectives and developing strong frameworks and processes that support long term growth. You will drive top level partnerships and take the lead in developing highly impactful and engaging customer experience. 


The Successful Applicant


You are currently in a similar Country Leadership position, ideally within the sporting goods industry. International exposure will be a plus – candidates who have lived and worked in different markets will be an at advantage. You are passionate about sports; it is an integral part of your life and you are a champion of active living. You are are a strategic business leader, with strong commercial know hows and in depth familiarty with the Korean market. Fluency in both Korean and English will be critical, to ensure effective communications with internal and external stakeholders.
