Policy Servicing Manager
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Develop and implement efficient process, quality procedures and policyholders service guidelines so as to ensure smooth functioning of the Policyholders Service department
•Develop and prepare regular reports on department performance, including maintenance of a complaint log, and regular reporting on staff efficiency and productivity
•Manage policyholders’ grievances, both administrative and clinical in nature. Liaising with appropriate departments to ensure effective problem solving
•Conduct policyholders’ briefing in an effective and professional manner in conjunction with Client Services / New Business for new and/or existing clients
•Understand and support process reviews and streamlining to improve efficiency
•Management of documentation production and processing, including policy documentation
•Ensure that the staff of Policyholders Service department comply with internal and regulatory requirements
•Co-ordination of the information system needs of Policyholders Service department
•Participate in system enhancement projects from user perspectives
•Train, supervise and offer leadership and direction to the staff of Policyholders Service
•Co-operate with all operating units in company to ensure smooth functionality of the Policyholders Service Department
•Carry out any other duties as and when required
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
•Degree in Business or Insurance/
•Health Insurance Certificate, CGI and M5 a must
•ACII (advantageous)
•At least 5 years of working experience in related field is required with at least 3 years of experience in processing of Group Medical Insurance and Group Term Life policies
•Previous managerial /supervisory role advantageous
•Should have previous experience in providing quality customer service and in handling complaints
•Have excellent communication skills strong leadership and good project management skills
•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
•Excellent time management and people management skillsHav
