Our Client is a leading technology player, with presence in major markets across the globe. It is looking for a dynamic and energetic finance professional to join them as their Revenue Recognition Manager.
Reporting to the Revenue Recognition Director, and managing a lean team of 2, you will be the subject matter expert for all revenue recognition matters for the Asia-Pacific region. You will ensure that revenue is recognized in accordance to US GAAP and SOP 97-2, and will also formulate and implement new revenue recognition policies when required. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as the sales management team and finance teams, and review all non-standard and large deals. You will also be tasked to provide advice to senior management for all matters pertaining to revenue recognition.
Ideally, you have a degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable university, with at least 8 years of revenue recognition experience with leading US technology MNCs. You have a strong grasp of US GAAP and SOP 97-2, and have good team management experience. You are confident, a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, and commercial acumen.
