Our client, a leading European provider of warehousing and logistics solution now invites an experienced Compliance & Risk Manager (Asia Pacific) to accelerate their growth in Singapore.
You will focus on Asia Pacific operational, compliance, inventory and counterparty related risks. You will be required to analyse, identify and document the risks within the Asia Pacific business operations and monitor the effectiveness of risk management processes and propose changes as needed. The role is not limited to identifying, accessing, describing and evaluating risks affecting the business and to propose correct action plans to mitigate risks. You will also manage the key risk indicators across region and create policies and procedures to response identified risks. You will also educate and provide training to employees regards to risk management strategies and support collateral management site surveys and due diligence checks to evaluate the feasibility of proposed projects. Last but not least, you will evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control framework and ensure compliance to company policies.
Ideally you should possess experiences in process design, validation and auditing (e.g. ISO, safety and field audits), risk assessment management and warehousing scorecard. Candidate proficiency in MS Office and with good analytical and communication skills is highly desired. You should possess experiences working in the logistics or commodities industry. Frequent travelling required.
