Our client is a well-established European MNC with a long history. It is fast expanding its footprint in Asia Pacific region and currently looking for a high potential individual to join them as a Regional Finance Manager. The successful incumbent will get the opportunity to be part of a global MNC that is fast expanding in Asia region.
Reporting to the CFO for Asia, the successful incumbent will lead a small team to manage the day to day accounting operations and simultaneously develop the team members professionally. You will be responsible for the yearly budget, monthly reporting (including flash reports), forecast, and provide the necessary management report to various stakeholders. You will partner with Regional Treasury to manage legal entities’ cash flow and collaborate with the APAC Finance team to implement and improve on financial processes. Besides internal stakeholders, you are expected to work with external agents such as auditors, tax agent and relevant government bodies. You will also get the chance to participate in the monitoring of the Transfer Pricing model for the region and support in any adhoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
• Possess a Bachelor of Accountancy or Business or its equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience in a broad spectrum of finance functions, especially operational accounting (i.e. GL, AR, AP, statutory compliance)
• Prior regional exposure and SAP experience is preferred
• A couple of years’ of experience in a finance supervisory capacity in an MNC environment
• Self-starter and able to take the initiative
• Team-player with strong organizational and planning skills
• Engaging personality with ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and across multiple functions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Occasional travelling in the region would be required
