Our client is a highly successful industrial automation solution company with global operation.
As Customs and International Trade Specialist, you will work with Singaporean Customs on operational issues ensuring the company operates within the laws and regulations, ensuring a smooth flow of materials and products whilst reducing customs costs to their lowest amount possible through effective strategy. You will be responsible to increase the awareness and the use of Singapore’s Free trade Agreements, providing advice to local, regional and global clients across all sectors, on customs and trade compliance issues.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in International Trade /Logistics/Supply Chain. Ideally, you should have a minimum of 2 years professional experience dealing with customs and trade compliance matters in industry or a government body. Possess strong knowledge of import and export regulations including free trade agreement, labeling, global trade security requirements, and other government agency requirements. Asian experience is an advantage but not essential. Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel and Access.
