Manager / Senior Manager – M&A

Our client is looking for an experienced M&A specialist to be part of its Corporate Strategic Planning team to support business divisions and management in evaluating and executing projects relating to M&A, investment, divestment and joint ventures.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role that requires the successful incumbent to analyse investment, divestment, greenfield projects and acquisition opportunities. You’ll get to perform financial analysis and develop financial models for business valuations to support decision making. You help manage the due diligence and negotiations as well as prepare investment proposals and Board presentations. In addition, you’re expected to prepare and review transaction documentation such as letters of interest, definitive agreements, public announcements and regulatory submissions. You may be required to support the business unit in post-merger integration activities. 
Requirements:
•A recognized Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, ACCA, Finance or equivalent experience
•Approximately 5-8 years’ relevant experience in corporate finance/M&A experience in Big 4 international public accounting firms, or investment bank or large organisations
•Strong problem-solving skills, good presentation and project management skills
•Well-developed quantitative and cash flow modeling skills
•Strong understanding of principles of corporate finance, valuation techniques, accounting standards, financial statement analysis and risk assessment in M&A
