Work details
Our Client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of offshore drilling and currently they are seeking for a Design Engineer to join their exciting team in Singapore office.
Reporting directly to the Engineering Team Lead, you are responsible to develop design specifications, detailed equipment layouts, test fixture layouts, design calculation packages, and test procedures. You will also be required to interface with a multi-disciplinary engineering team and oversee designers/drafters to provide results against agreed technical objectives and timelines.
Ideally you should have a minimum Degree in Mechanical with 5 years of experience in subsea O&G drilling/production equipment including wellheads, trees, valves, risers, etc. You should also have experience with major oil & gas equipment supplier, preferably subsea related. You will need to be familiar with 2D/3D CAD software and comfortable developing concept and detailed engineering layouts, as well as competent engineering background to be able to develop calculation packages as required per the design and industry standards.
