Work details
The Executive, Programming will play a strong supporting role in our channel GEM content programming by performing administrative and operational duties in program scheduling and acquisition. The role reports to the Director, Programming & Acquisition based out of Singapore.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce accurate monthly grids based on master program line up.
- Execute daily grid scheduling and input program-related details as well as export daily grids, using program scheduling software (Vision).
- Work closely with program distributors and internal departments including OAP and Marketing teams to ensure smooth delivery of broadcast and marketing materials.
- Understand the unique selling points of the acquired programs and prepare content slides for briefing to internal departments.
- Research on the latest Asian programs across different platforms to understand the market trends and monitor competition.
- Support in the ratings analysis and report churning to monitor the channel performance across all territories.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/Degree preferably in Media Studies/Mass Communication or relevant discipline
- Keen interest in TV programming especially Japanese content
- Strong command of spoken and written English. Japanese language is an added advantage
- Strong organizational and time management skills required for planning and meeting deadlines
- Technology savvy with good research skills
- Organized, able to multi task and has an eye for details
- Self-motivated, resourceful and creative with excellent communication skills
- Energetic, positive and an excellent team player who is able to work under pressure and tight timelines
