IT Project Manager

About this role

This is a newly created role which will be part of the Bitcastle team. Bitcastle is a cryptocurrency exchange platform which aims to create a new age of exchange where everyone can use it safely and have fun. As we expand and take a more active approach to global expansion, we are looking for a Japanese speaking Project Manager. As a project manager, your mission is to incorporate ideas into requirement specifications, select the development environment and infrastructure, scrutinise functions based on the requirement definitions, and manage the progress of the development team.

We have entities in Japan, Singapore and Vietnam. This role can be fully remote, and hence is open to candidates from other countries as well.


About the job
- Development management (budget management, overall progress management, direction to all relevant parties, etc.)
- Specification design/specification documentation
- Subcontractor management (e.g. specification adjustment and schedule adjustment with development contractors, dealing with problems, etc.)
- Debugging team management (managing work status, responding to specification questions, etc.)
- Creating test cases (designing test items)
- Verification work
- Management of deliverables
- Make decisions regarding bugs
- Security management

Minimum Requirements
- Business level English and Japanese language skills to communicate directly with Japanese management
- Experience as project manager (experience in other cryptocurrency exchanges preferable)
