Company Overview
Our client is MNC company who is opening new cafe-style restaurant.
They are looking for an experienced chef.
Job Description
• Ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation in the kitchen and café.
• Solo worker
• Fully in-charge of entire café operations (from taking order, payment, preparation of food and beverages, serving to cleaning)
• Assist in the management of Kitchen Operations including menu planning and costing, developing new dishes, maintaining food quality standards and comprehensive product knowledge.
• Ensure Kitchen standards in accordance to SFA/NEA Licensing
• Ensure sufficient stocks are in storage & food placed in appropriate containers.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and tools are used safely, correctly and kept in good working condition at all times.
• Act on any guest feedback and provide any service recovery where required.
• Maintain a hygienic kitchen and personal hygiene
• Assist in packing and repacking of products during non-busy hours
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
Requirements
• Possess at least 3 Year(s) of relevant working experience
• Minimum F&B Professional Certificate/NiTEC
• Knowledge of food hygiene and preparation standards
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to long hours, weekends and Public Holidays
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work alone
• Have a well-groomed and professional appearance
