About the Client
The Japanese MNC operates as a regional headquarter responsible for the sales activity in the APAC region. Reports to the Senior IT Manager, responsible for implementing and supporting the local and regional HQ office application systems.
Responsibilities
To deliver system solution to improve local and regional process and operation management, including Management Information System (MIS) and Business Performance Management Intelligence (BMI) etc.
Define an effective information management with Regional IT; Develop and implement regional MIS to utilize the collected data; Develop user-friendly interface for regional HQ to perform data analysis.
Work with the BMI Team to develop the regional data management framework, design a business data structure, establish regional data definition and data quality standard, and ensure it is aligned to regional business strategy requirements
Assist the Business Data Steward of BMI Team, to document data definition, business rules for data stored in data warehouse, usage of data in relates to relevant reports
Liaise with the Business Information Consumers (report requestor), Producers, or Business Subject Expert to define the information requirements and data quality standards required for group financial or regulatory reporting requirements
Support the BMI Team to ensure that the agreed standard and definitions are implemented in the regional data warehouse
Participate in other regional initiatives and projects, manage the business requests, UAT, training. Timely update to senior IT Manager on project status and keep track of related aspects.
Requirements
University Graduates, major in Information System, engineering or related studies.
7 year experience preferable in the similar roles of project manager, process lead, IT business analytics or system analyst
Point of Contact for Regional HQ Office about software and application works. Have experience in working with business domain experts. Able to make and communicate decision independently and effectively within the team and users.
Track record in implementing management information system, business process automation and data warehouse. Hands-on experience of developing logical and physical data model.
A strong advocate of good data management practices. Able to work with business leaders to implement effective data management framework that improve corporate data quality
Desirable:
7 year experience in similar roles, preferably for MNC with regional exposure; knows Japanese or other Asian language is an advantage to communicate in/out of office.
In-depth knowledge of Business Application Management, Data Warehouse Life Cycle, OLAP and Business Intelligence; Adept to apply proper methods to manage various data sources/types, non-uniform data structures; Knowledge of Metadata, data dictionaries, data modeling
Hands-on experience of RDBMS, SQL, ETL tools, preferably from IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, MySQL, Qlik, Tableau, Cognos Framework Manager; knowledge about Splunk, Big Data, XML standard and web programming language are helpful though not essential.
Certified in PMP/ITIL/CITPM. Good experience in handling large-scale, multi-platform systems is an advantage
Introduction experience of expense management system, such as Concur is very valuable.
