ACDC Quality Control Manager (Japanese Speaking/ U

Our Client, an internationally established Beauty company, is on an active lookout for a vibrant and knowledgeable japanese-speaking individual to join them as a ACDC Quality Control Manager.
 
You will be liaising with the Japan, Korea and Hong Kong Office daily on supply chain matters. Your job responsibilties include(s):
Lead the roll out project (in partnership with APAC DC manager, Japan regulatory & quality department, Central Quality department):Ensure the respect of roles and responsibilities between the different actors (APAC DC manager, Japan regulatory & quality department, Warehouse Manager, Central Quality department) as defined by the work groupProvide initial training to warehouse workers to conduct 1st inspection and 2nd inspection according to the process defined, validate the good owner ship of the process by warehouse team, control the constancy.Oversee documents related to procedures to be implemented (APAC DC manager, Japan regulatory & quality department)Create standard samples (APAC DC manager, Japan regulatory & quality department)If needed, source and qualify an external lab (microbioal test / ingredients dosage)Prepare templates of documents to be sent to JapanSupervise quality operationsGet the information of products / batches to controlManage the standard samples (new / update existing)Create / update documentsWrite / oversee the redaction of documents to be transmitted to JapanReport product quality claims to the central quality departmentManagement of non-conform products for Japan (decision making)Define and pilot quality budgetElaboration of KPIs / reportingApply continuous improvement approach and manage action plansCoordination between the various stakeholders (APAC DC manager, Japan regulatory & quality department, Warehouse manager, Central Quality department) 
Job requirement(s):
Degree in Quality Control / Logistics/ Chemistry / Scientific EngineeringMinimum 5 years of managerial experience in a similar capacityFluent in English and Japanese as you will be liaising with overseas stakeholders dailyExperience in project management in an international (multi countries) environmentAbility to work under pressure, facing conflicting interests from the various stakeholdersExperience in beauty / cosmetics sector or food or medical material or pharmaceutical industriesExperience of operational quality (control, quality assurance, management people)Strong leadership (able to lead a team of 20-30pax)Service and problem solving orientatedTeam player and strong relationship builderProven attention to detail / accuracyGood communication skills, verbal and writtenSAP knowledge will be advantageous
